A Filipino citizen, age 53, Brian Raymund R. Hernandez is a licensed Chemical Engineer by profession. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with Specialization in Computer Applications from De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines in 1992. Mr. Hernandez acquired his expertise in Brewing Science and Technology from the San Miguel School of Brewing where he finished his Brewing Technology Course in 1997. In June 2012, he completed a Post Graduate Diploma Course in Malting and Brewing at Heriot-Watt University, UK. He completed the Leadership and Management Development Program at the Ateneo de Manila University Graduate School of Business and Center for Continuing Education.

He built his 27-year career with the San Miguel group, holding various positions both in the Brewing Technical Group and Manufacturing Group in the Beer Division of San Miguel Corporation and later in San Miguel Brewery Inc. His assignments included Research and Development, Technical Manpower Development, and managerial roles in both the Philippines and international breweries such as Brewing Consultant/Brewmaster of San Miguel Brewery Hong Kong Ltd. and Plant Manager of San Miguel Baoding Brewery Co., Ltd. in Hebei, China. He was the Operations Technology Brewmaster of San Miguel Brewery Inc's Brewing Technology Group prior to joining the Company.

He was appointed as Director of the Company in June 2022.
